Shipping Policy

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

To ensure that your package is properly delivered and that you receive your package within the time frames we advertise, please make sure that your address is correctly entered and includes all relevant and/or required information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) is critical for ensuring timely delivery. We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of purchase.

 

When will I receive my item?

Delivery time = Processing time before shipment + Carrier transit time after shipment

 

Processing time

Order processing time is the time it takes to prepare your order for shipping which can range from 2 - 5 business days for orders shipping from the US or 7 - 10 days for items shipping from overseas. There are 3 stages to our order processing time. 

Awaiting fulfillment - This is the initial order processing phase. This phase usually takes 1 day. During this time, we are performing a security and fraud check. This is also the timeframe to cancel an order if you change your mind.

Awaiting Shipment - This is the next phase after the order safely passes the fraud check. Normal duration for this phase is 1 - 4 business days for TLC Express items or items in our ATL Warehouse and 6 - 9 days for all items in our offsite overseas warehouse. 

NOTE: you will not receive a tracking number during the order processing periodDo not panic. You will receive your tracking number after the order is processed when it is shipped to you.

*The shipping tables above represent the estimated number of business days it takes until you receive your order after placing it on the website. Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or US Holidays. This table above includes processing and in-transit time for your order.  

Expedited and Express shipping available upon request request.

*Overseas Offsite products may have a 7 -  10 business day processing time. If you have other US products with 2-5 business days processing time in the same order, it will adhere to the 7 - 10 business days, even with expedited or overnight shipping. We suggest placing separate orders if you need the 2-5 business days products expedited or express.

**Expedited and Overnight shipping only applies to the actual shipping portion of the order, it does not expedite the processing time of orders.

***Expect Holiday shipping delays of 4 - 5 business days for orders placed between Black Friday and December 31st due to carrier delays beyond our control. ***

 

Please contact us at the time of ordering at support@thelittleconnection.com to request expedited or express shipping. We will send an invoice for the additional amount, which must be paid prior to the ending of the processing time, or your order will ship out with the standard shipping service.

Items shipping from the US Atlanta warehouse or TLC Express collection have shorter handling times.  All other items are offsite and will arrived as shown above in delivery time table.

International: We offer shipping to Canada, UK, and most other countries. 

The Little Connection is not responsible for applicable customs fees, import duties, taxes or any other charges.

 

Pick up at our Warehouse  

Local pick up at our Atlanta warehouse is available upon request. To get the process started, check out on the website with the standard shipping option, then email us at support@thelittleconnection to request to pick up at our warehouse. Be sure to include your name and order number. We will contact you via email when your item is ready for pickup. You will have 5 business days to pick up your order. If the order is not picked up, we will ship the order to the address provided at the time of purchase. If the order is picked up, then shipping cost less a $3 handling fee will be refunded to your original payment method. 

 

Delivery policy

If your package is lost or missing, you must contact us within 30 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a store credit or reship. The Little Connection does not guarantee responsibility for packages that have been reported as “Delivered” by the carrier and will review on a case by case basis.

 

Delivery claims

If you are experiencing a non-delivery or your tracking information states that your package was delivered by the carrier but you have not received it; you must contact us within 10 days to file a claim.

We will assist you in working with the carrier to complete the claims process. Please note: Claims can take up to 30 days to complete (depending on the shipping carrier used).

The Little Connection does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been reported as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.

 

Out of stock items

Unfortunately, sometimes we have to cancel an order if we sell out of a particular item. If your order includes multiple items and one (or more) of the items are out of stock: we will go ahead and ship the rest of your order, issuing a refund to your original form of payment for the item(s) not in stock.

 

Reserved rights regarding shipping

While we will make every effort to accommodate your shipping and billing preferences, in order to protect our customers, The Little Connection reserves the right to require customers to use a “common” shipping and billing address in the event we are unable to process an order or verify a shipping address provided.

Additionally, The Little Connection reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or cancel orders from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing;”
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or,
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, The Little Connection reserves the right to limit, refuse, and/or reject returns to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.

Non-The Little Connection items sent to our Returns Center will be discarded upon receipt.

 
Items not arriving on time
 
Unfortunately, we are not responsible for items not arriving on time, however, we are glad to accept a qualifying return. Please check our Returns Policy for more information about if you are eligible for a return.
